AIIAA Hosts First Community Webinar: The AI Launchpad
The AI Industry Association of Australia has officially kicked off its public event series with The AI Launchpad, a candid and practical deep dive into what it really takes to build and scale AI products in Australia.
Hosted by founding members Stephen Hunt and Kate Russell, the session brought together practitioners, founders, consultants and AI-curious professionals from across the country. Our guests, Jody Geddes and Alex Papley, shared unfiltered insights from their respective journeys – from validating an idea and mapping processes to mastering prompting, selecting the right tools, and navigating the transition from prototype to production.
The discussion reinforced why AIIAA exists. Our strength comes from community, collaboration, and sharing real stories that accelerate Australia’s collective AI capability. This webinar marks the beginning of a broader program of events designed to empower members to connect, learn, and shape the future of AI in Australia together.
